A picture of the 2002 Gujarat riots went viral, that picture was of Ashok Parmar. In that picture he is holding a rod in one hand, he has tied a saffron colored band on his head. Now after 20 years, Ashok works as a cobbler, he has a very small shop. Ashok Parmar now says that no one benefited from the riots, every party is a trader of power.
