শেরপুর সদরে দোজা পীরের দরবারে হামলা-ভাঙচুর ও অগ্নিসংযোগের ঘটনা ঘটেছে। পুলিশ জানায়, দরবার শরীফে অনৈতিক কাজের অভিযোগ তুলে তা বন্ধের দাবি ছিলো মুর্শিদপুর গ্রামবাসী’সহ স্থানীয় কওমী মাদরাসার শিক্ষক-শিক্ষার্থীদের। এ নিয়ে মঙ্গলবার পীরের অনুসারীদের সাথে গ্রামবাসীর সংঘর্ষ হয়।
There was an incident of attack, vandalism, and arson at the Darbar of Doja Pir in Sherpur Sadar. Police said that Murshidpur villagers, along with teachers and students of the local Qawmi Madrasa, had demanded the closure of the Darbar Sharif, alleging immoral activities. On Tuesday, the villagers clashed with the Pir’s followers over this.
