#DeepakJoshi from Mai Hira Gate Market Association, Jalandhar had gone to Police Division 3 last night on behalf of some parties with a mutual dispute, upon arrival he was trying to have the SHO DIV-6 KamalJit Singh talk to someone on the phone and an argument ensued as the SHO didn’t want to speak to anybody and Mr. Joshi was asked to LEAVE the station to which he took a great offence.
This afternoon Mr. Joshi and the members of the Market Association blocked the Mai Hira Gate Market road for hours blocking the traffic all around DEMANDING that the SHO KamaljitSingh APOLOGISES for his alleged misbehaviour.
SHO DIV-3 and the Police Party went there this afternoon trying to get them to clear the road and arrested #DeepakJoshi and another individual and brought them to the station.
A big protest was also held outside the Police Station demanding a release of both individuals arrested.
Both individuals arrested were released and said it was just a misunderstanding and has been sorted out for now.
In conversation with SHO Kamaljit Singh, who related the F. I. R. has been filed and the accused have been released on BAIL as of now and their DEMANDS FOR APOLOGY WAS CATAGORICALLY DENIED BY THE SHO.
