After 32 policemen were suspended for allegedly accepting bribes to turn a blind eye to an illegal structure, Mumbai police commissioner Satyapal Singh spoke exclusively to TIMES NOW about the issue. Satyapal Singh has called it as a shameful act and promised a probe in the case. 32 Mumbai cops have been caught on tape accepting bribes for illegal construction. The police personnel, right from the rank of constables to assistant sub-inspectors, were seen on camera accepting money. The camera footage showed that the policemen collected a total of Rs 45,000 over 10 days. All the 32 cops now have been suspended.
