After six months of tapping six phone lines of four different criminal organizations primarily trafficking drugs in Baltimore City, Baltimore City State’s Attorney Ivan Bates and U.S. Attorney for Maryland Erek Barron announced the indictment of more than three dozen people Monday morning that both leaders said could have only happened because of the partnership between state, local, and federal agencies.
