In the morning of July 27th, around 10:26 AM. Arkansas State Police Corporal Steven Roberts was on patrol duty along Interstate 40 when he received a dispatch alert. A black 2007 Lexus, reported for reckless driving, was spotted heading east near mile marker 231. The vehicle sped on the shoulder, dangerously passing other cars and forcing them off the road. Dispatch said the driver couldn’t stay in a lane and might be impaired.
