The ‘Rose Parade’ is now right outside my door. Is this a joyous and special time when 700,000 people and families get together to watch a beautiful Tournament of Roses? Unfortunately not, for me anyway! Pasadena gets turned into a fortress of riot barricades and police presence and then there is a small surprise left over at the end.
