Recently deputies made a proactive traffic near Eureka and Lava Ridge. During the stop they contacted 33-year-old Ricky Mitchel and 34 year old Emily Bolen who both had active warrants. Deputies searched the vehicle and located numerous items including stolen property, methamphetamine, and evidence of identity theft. There was also a printer and blank check paper, which showed evidence of making fake checks.
After the stop both Mitchel and Bolen were arrested for a variety of drug and theft related charges. Great proactive work done by the deputies out patrolling the streets. It is this type of work that keeps other people from being victimized by identity theft or other types of crimes these individuals might have committed.
