On August 19, 2023, a 27-year-old woman called 911 and told the dispatcher that she was drunk and didn’t know where she was. Marysville Police Officers were able to locate her sitting on a curb behind the local Waffle House. Fire Department medics also arrived to assess the woman’s condition, but she refused medical treatment. The Police would not allow her to leave alone and she was involved in a drunk verbal argument with her friends, so it was decided to contact her mother (at 4:00 AM). While they were waiting for her mother to arrive, she went into full drunk Karen mode and refused to listen to the officers. Eventually, she lost her energy and passed out in the back of the police car. That didn’t last long as she then got sick to her stomach. The Fire Department was called again and took her to the local emergency room. 3 officers spent more than an hour with her, the Fire Department responded twice, and all she received was a $210 citation for Disorderly Conduct.
