05/11/2024 Benton County, AR Sheriff’s Office spotted an individual driving a yellow GMC pickup truck stopped at an intersection for an extended period of time. The officer followed the truck onto the highway where a traffic stop took place.
The driver can be heard slurring his speech and seen stumbling over himself. When a PBT was performed the driver blew .222 BAC. The legal limit in the jurisdiction is currently 0.08 BAC so he was close to 3 times the legal limit while leaving an establishment well known for patrons leaving under the influence on game nights.
