WHAT IS DISORDERLY CONDUCT IN NEVADA?

The Las Vegas disorderly conduct statute is very broad. It includes such behaviors as:
-public drunkenness;
-a physical or verbal altercation; and/or
-being loud in public

Disorderly conduct is the least serious charge someone can face in Nevada side from jaywalking or trespass. Often the D.A. will dismiss the charge if the defendant will pay a fine and take a class. In other cases, more serious charges may be reduced to disorderly conduct as part of a plea bargain.
