On February 25th, 2023, a police officer responded to a hit-and-run incident involving a highly intoxicated female driver with a 15-month-old child. Initially uncooperative, the driver eventually provided her details and underwent sobriety tests, which she failed. Another occupant in the back seat cooperated, offering crucial information. After confirming the driver’s impairment, the officer arrested her, arranged for the child’s custody, and transported her to the police station. She was later brought to court to face charges of driving while intoxicated and disorderly conduct.
