A drunk and disorderly charge landed one man in jail last night. Last night around 11pm Alpena City ambulance was called to Tenth Avenue and River Street to treat a man that appeared to be excessively drunk. The Man became aggressive and resistant to medical attention, when law enforcement was called to the scene. The Alpena Police Department assisted in subduing the man who was taking to the hospital. After the man was treated and released from the hospital, he was arrested on charges of resisting and obstructing police, a drunk and disorderly charge, as well as multiple outstanding warrants.
