On February 24, 2023, officers responded to a hit-and-run incident at a residential building, aided by a witness who provided key information. Following the lead, the officer located the suspect, who was asleep in her apartment. Upon waking and realizing she was being arrested, the woman resisted, becoming visibly distressed and questioning the charges. The officer maintained procedure, securing her in the patrol car before transporting her to the station for processing. The suspect was later presented in court, facing charges including aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, resisting arrest without violence, and disorderly conduct.
