This VIDEO is about my LAW ENFORCEMENT FATHER ERVIN LEWIS BLACKLEY who was a WORLD WAR TWO HONORABLY DISCHARGED ARMY-AIR CORP VETERAN and who later gave SIXTEEN YEARS of his life to LAW ENFORCEMENT in TEXAS. He was a Lake Patrolman at Possum Kingdom Lake in Palo Pinto County Texas for a year and then gave Fifteen more years as a Police Officer for GRAHAM TEXAS which is the County Seat of YOUNG COUNTY and Headquarters for the 90th TEXAS JUDICIAL DISTRICT. He was brutally killed at 50 years of age by a YOUNG COUNTY ‘LONG-BED’ DUMPTRUCK on his Recreational motorcycle going home one morning from work in March of 1974. My mother MARY JOSEPHINE CAROTHERS-BLACKLEY was also a Public Servant for GRAHAM CITY HALL and Sued for Wrongful Death by Negligent Homicide…Which I now know it was…I was on ACTIVE DUTY with the U.S. ARMY right after High School Graduation from Graham in 1973 and at the Tail end of the VIETNAM ERA CONFLICT in 1974 at FORT HOOD/KILLEEN when my Father was BRUTALLY KILLED in GRAHAM TEXAS. I was sent to (W.) GERMANY after RIOTS TOOK PLACE AT FORT HOOD DURING THE SUMMER OF 1974 and was in Kirch Goen’s Ayers Kaserne U.S. Army Base when my mother went to COURT in 1975. HER AND MY FAMILY WERE ‘CHEATED’ OUT OF ANY ‘PROPER’ SETTLEMENT with the very small Sum she received mostly going to her LAWYER…ALL the Members of my Immediate Family who were there in Graham… to include my dad, my mom, and a sister PASSED AWAY before they should have…NO THANKS TO GRAHAM AND YOUNG COUNTY TEXAS….”POLICE LIVES MATTER.”
