In Las Vegas, a drunk man is brought in on a DUI. His humorous character entertains the officers but it won’t resolve him of his crimes. Elsewhere officers place a disruptive suspect in a holding cell until he sobers up. A man is brought to jail after being arrested for drug possession. The suspect recounts how he attempted to dispose of his marijuana by eating it.
Jail is an American documentary reality television series that follows suspects in custody from booking through to incarceration. The show documents events in different jails across the U.S. Jail is the sister show to Cops, a show that follows police officers on patrol.
