Anand Vardhan Singh talks about the riots and violence occurred in Delhi where more than 50 people were killed but Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah is silent on the issue. The opposition is quite aggressive and demanding the resignation of Amit Shah. There is ruckus in the both houses of parliament and 7 Congress members have been suspended for the session in motion including Gaurav Gogoi. Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee has called Delhi Riots “A Planned Genocide” and she said Narendra Modi and Amit Shah are repeating the riots model of Gujrat in Delhi.
Anand Vardhan Singh also talks about Justice Muralidhar who delivered a fine speech on his farewell ceremony at Delhi High Court. He tells the story of transfer of Justice Muralidhar who was transferred to Punjab & Chandigarh High Court in the midnight of the day he harshly remrked on Delhi Police, Kapil Mishra, Anurag Thakur and Parvesh Verma and asked to lodge FIR against them.
He talks about suspended Aam Aadmi Party corporator Tahir Hussain who surrendered before Delhi Police after his anticipatory bail plea was rejected and before going to jail he gave an interview to #TheWire in which he says that he was in regular contact with senior official of Delhi Police during the riots and calls himself innocent.
