After winning his appeal in court, Ali Dizaei spoke to the Channel 4 reporters and talked about continuing fighting to clear his name of the accusations. He spoke about how his suspension from the Scotland Yard was politically influenced and not in favor of the public.
Furthermore, he mentioned that he would prefer working a non-operational job in the Metropolitan Police force and earning the money he deserves. However, he didn’t get his job back, and the lawyers have suggested taking the case further to the high court.
Moreover, he spoke about how he was delighted to have an independent tribunal decide to be reinstated as a police officer. He said he was uncomfortable fighting all the cases against the department, but for clearing his name and proving his innocence was more important to him.
