“Dear friends, by expressing deep sadness over the loss of lives in the last month as a result of terror both here and to our neighbours in kenya, it always just proves that we should not tire our efforts to completely fight and degrade al-shabaab terrorists. Let the sobering moments or let the recent attack serve as a sobering moment for all of us, to act decisively with terrorists and their agents. Give no room for terror to spread further than it already has. Let it unite us even more, rather than divide us,”

“It’s our responsibility, it is countries and governments responsibility to ensure that the terror networks are disrupted and in particular in what really makes them strong, which is financial flows and all the money that they have. Unfortunately this is a very serious area where they are very clever and astute. So we have to balance this, we have to patient and i understand that this is a serious issue, at the same time we call on those in charge to look into it so that the ordinary citizen is not hurt.”
