On December 1, 2023, a woman reported that her ex-girlfriend was outside of her apartment building and she was not allowed to be there. Arriving officers met with a heavily intoxicated woman sitting on the sidewalk with a suitcase. She was combative, drunk, and profane. Officers learned that the woman had multiple warrants and the police dispatchers spent the next hour trying to verify if any of the cities would extradite the woman. When one city confirmed that they would extradite, the woman was placed under arrest and a struggle ensued. The woman demanded to be taken to the hospital, instead of jail. She was eventually charged with Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest. She failed to show for her first court appearance and another warrant was issued for her arrest.
