An Alabama band director was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after he refused to stop his band’s performance at a football game on September 14. Johnny Mims and his more than 140 student ensemble were almost done with their last song when Birmingham officers approached Mims asking him to stop their performance and exit the stadium. When he refused, Mims was tased. The Law&Crime Network’s Elizabeth Millner explains what happened next.
