New Mexico police released bodycam footage showing the deadly shooting of 52-year-old Robert Dotson on April 5 after officers responded to the wrong house. Authorities said Dotson allegedly approached the door with a firearm, not realizing the people outside of his residence were police. The department made a public apology and stated that the tragic shooting is under investigation. The Law&Crime’s Sierra Gillespie has the details.
