Authorities say bodycam footage shows deputies arresting Oregon state Representative James Hieb under suspicion of disorderly conduct and allegedly interfering with a peace officer at the Clackamas County fair on August 17. The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office said that they were called by a worker who said Hieb apparently refused to put out his cigarette after they told him to. Police reports say Hieb allegedly argued with the responding deputies and refused to give them his ID. “His belligerent behavior disturbed citizens as they exited the fairgrounds,” an arresting deputy wrote in the affidavit.
