Bodycam footage shows Illinois police responding to a 911 call from parents who said their 8-year-old son was “cold” and “lifeless” in his room in March 2022. Peoria police said they found a note on Navin Jones’ bedroom door that read “Don’t give Navin any food or drink. Do not let him out of the room.” The little boy was rushed to the hospital where he died. Now, his father, Brandon Walker, faces trial for his death after his mother, Stephanie Jones, pleaded guilty and agreed to testify against him. The Law&Crime Network’s Sierra Gillespie breaks it down.
