This is the Citizen Riot Shield by Herbert Luciole
With the help of kickstarter we are setting up production of these shields in 2014. They will be available to buy in the Uk and mainland Europe. However we will also provide guides for people to build their own. With downloadable graphics and a variety of camera/phone mounts available.
A shield, is by definition, a defensive object. With the addition of a camera mount, we enable the user to record the actions of police during a protest scenario.
We deplore violence and encourage all forms of peaceful protest. If the police are no longer providing adequate protection and safety for those people wishing to participate in democratic protest, We are obliged to protect ourselves.

This was also shot on out little 90 euro hacked GF2 running 100mbits per second full HD! The lens is the Panasonic 20mm with a neutral ND filter to force the aperture open.
We also used a Black ASP 2-Axis Nex-GH5 Series Brushless Gimbal for a steady rig.
All highly recommended kit if you want to make movies on the cheap!
