On April 13, 2011 more than 1,000 students, faculty and staff walked out at CSU-Sacramento to protest budget cuts and administrative priorities. They marched through the administration building at Sacramento Hall and afterwards a three-day occupation ensued. Riot police from SF were brought in to end the occupation. Afterwards, the Sac-State-Four were targeted for the demonstrations that violated school policy. The violations were later dismissed.
