Democrats strike down amendment to the Inflation Reduction Act prohibiting IRS from targeting taxpayers for audits that earn less $400,000.
Why would they strike down this amendment if there is “zero” intent”. This law increases the size of the IRS by 90%. Even the CBO admits that audits will need to occur to pay for the passed bill.
