The officer arrested for reckless driving and disorderly conduct is no longer employed with the North Charleston Police Department.
The Dorchester County Sheriffs Office has released to the Journal Scene the video of a Christmas Eve traffic stop involving an off-duty North Charleston Police Officer, Christine Finney. The video depicts an incident that unfolded about 10 p.m. Christmas eve when a deputy traveling northbound on Central Avenue spotted a black colored vehicle coming toward him at a high rate of speed in the southbound lane, passing vehicles in the median.
