10/8/2022 1:38:49 AM (Investigative)On 10/8/2022 at approximately 12:14 AM I was traveling on Burke near the public parking lot for the bars downtown when I noticed a white male banging on the passenger side door of a vehicle. I could also hear the words open the fucking door even though my windows on my vehicle were rolled up. I then stepped out with the individuals. Upon making contact the male banging on the door who was later identified as Arrestee #2 (Schug, Aaron Judd),advised me everything was ok in which I then identified myself and reason I was there. I then advised Arrestee#2 (Schug, Aaron Judd) to step in front of my patrol car in which he stepped in front of the car which was his. The passenger in the vehicle who was later identified as Arrestee #1 (Davis, Preston Jack) then began yelling back at me telling me I had no reason to be talking to them. I then advised him to step out of the car in which he continued to talkback and then stepped in front of the vehicle. I then advised the subjects to step in front of my patrol car multiple times in which Arrestee #2 (Schug, Aaron Judd) finally did. Arrestee #1 (Davis, Preston Jack) was advised 3 to 4times before I began to grab his arm to assist him due to not complying. Arrestee #1 (Davis, Preston Jack)continuously using vulgar language and once I grabbed his arm he then bowed up to me as if he was going to fight. I then placed Arrestee #1 (Davis, Preston Jack) on the hood of the car he was standing in front of as he was resisting me placing handcuffs on him. Once in handcuffs Arrestee #1 (Davis, Preston Jack) continued to use vulgar language where other people could hear. Both subjects were intoxicated. I then turned Arrestee #1 (Davis, Preston Jack) over to assisting officers while I ran both subjects. While obtaining the returns for the subjects I was notified that Arrestee #2 (Schug, Aaron Judd) had a cite and release warrant through the City of Jonesboro for FTP. Arrestee #1 (Davis, Preston Jack) was placed into the back seat of my patrol car while I gathered information for report for Arrestee #2 (Schug, Aaron Judd). Arrestee #2(Schug, Aaron Judd) was then served warrant #JO-22-673 for FTP and given a court date of 10/24/2022 at 9AM.Arrestee #2 (Schug, Aaron Judd) was released. While completing paperwork on scene Arrestee #1 (Davis, Preston Jack) continuously became combative in the back seat banging his head, spitting, and kicking officers trying to obtain his articles. Arrestee #1 (Davis, Preston Jack)then began to threaten to kill me when he got out. Due to Arrestee #1(Davis, Preston Jack) having previous charges of aggravated assault on law enforcement. Arrestee #1 (Davis, Preston Jack) was also charged with terroristic threatening 1st.Arrestee #1 (Davis, Preston Jack) was transported to CCDC where he will wait a probable cause hearing on the charges of public intoxication, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and terroristic threatening 1st. A probation hold was also placed per probation request. Nothing further. Narrative – Dumond, Nicholas – 10/10/2022 1:19:45 PM (Investigative)On 10/10/2022 I received this case for review. While reviewing video I observed that when the suspect stated that he would kill the officer the suspect was intoxicated and handcuffed in the rear of Victim #1 (Cohn, Lane)police vehicle. This was at minute mark 11:18 of the video. I was not able to interview Arrestee #1 (Davis, Preston Jack) today but was able to get a temp bond from Judge Boling. His temporary bond was set at $50,000 cash
