On January 3rd, 2023, officers responded to a report of a disorderly woman at a bar. Upon arrival, officers located the woman, reportedly causing a disturbance inside the bar. Witnesses, including the bar’s head of security, claimed the suspect stood on a bathroom counter screaming at patrons. When bar security approached, the woman began kicking, yelling, and flailing her arms around. Security was forced to restrain her due to her behavior as they waited for the police to arrive.
As officers attempted to detain the suspect from security, she continued to resist while being handcuffed. As officers transferred the suspect to a patrol car, she continued to resist and fight officers while yelling. Inside the patrol car, the suspect began aggressively kicking the doors and interior of the patrol car. While kicking and screaming, the suspect requested her lawyer and a supervisor while cussing at officers standing outside the patrol car.
Security staff at the bar gave officers the suspect’s purse containing her passport, bank cards, and a vial of brown oil, believed to be THC oil. The vial was sent to a lab for further analysis. The suspect continued her aggressive behavior, kicking an officer in the leg while later being placed into a prisoner transport van. The suspect was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Obstructing Or Resisting an Officer Without Violence.
