Drunk Florida Woman Screams and Spits at Police, Doesn’t End Well
The first incident takes place on April 19, 2024, in Palm Coast. Police body cam footage shows 40-year-old Julia Jones intoxicated and stumbling in the middle of the road, behaving erratically towards officers. Despite attempts to de-escalate the situation, Jones continues to yell, curse, and even spit on the officers. The police body cam captures the chaotic scene as Jones violently resists arrest, banging her head against the patrol car and continuing her verbal assault. Ultimately, Jones is arrested for disorderly intoxication, battery on a law enforcement officer, and drug possession.The police body cam then captures a second incident on September 16, 2022, in Ector County. A young woman named Martinez is suspected of driving under the influence. The police body cam shows Martinez acting belligerently, refusing to cooperate, and repeatedly spitting on officers during the arrest. Despite patient attempts to de-escalate and explain the situation, Martinez continues to scream, curse, and resist. She is eventually arrested for DUI and assaulting a public servant.
