Monday 8th August 2011 – London goes up in flames as many boroughs riot and loot spontaneously. The unrest started in Tottenham on Saturday after a local was fatally shot by Police sparking riots in the area. Sunday saw violence spill over into Brixton and Enfield. By Monday night, the police had lost control of many areas in London. This video shows ealing up in flames. One man tried to stop the fires and was beaten to death by a mob. The death toll surrounding the violence in England over the past few days has reached five. Many questions are to be asked behind the deeper reasons for this unrest.
