The DPD weekend report notes that thing got out of hand very quickly when a bunch of patrons were ejected from a bar –

“The main disturbance of the evening came from the Service Bar. The bouncers had a disturbance inside and began tossing people outside. Officers started to make arrests and found themselves surrounded by the crowd. An ‘Assist Officer’ call was put out over the radio.
“When I arrived, it was a chaotic scene. As additional Officers began to arrive, most of the crowd began to disperse. Three were arrested for Public Intoxication, yet there were many more that needed to go if we had more hands.
“Two more persons from this incident were arrested a short time later as they attempted to keep the disturbance alive.”
