On April 20th, 2024, officers in Ohio responded to a call for help from a delivery driver who reported an intoxicated woman had entered his truck during a delivery and refused to leave. Upon arrival, officers asked the woman to exit the truck, but she insisted she was fine and not intoxicated. The officer assisted her out of the truck, during which she swore at him and demanded to see her husband. The woman then returned to the truck to collect her belongings but began arguing and insulting the officer, refusing to comply with orders.
As the situation escalated, the woman continued to resist and shout back at the officer, clapping her hands defiantly. Despite repeated orders to take her belongings and leave, she persisted in her non-compliance, prompting the officer to await backup. Eventually, the officers removed her from the truck and placed her in handcuffs as she continued to pull away, demanding to see her husband.
The suspect was placed in the cruiser while officers searched for and identified her husband. Following the identification process, the suspect was transported to jail for further processing. The suspect was charged with Obstructing Official Business.
