Everett police continue to investigate a fatal crash early Saturday that left three people dead and two women with serious injuries after a driver jumped the curb, drove across the sidewalk, and crashed into a nearby fence.
Police said multiple people ran from the car, and they detained three boys who were later released to their families.
Police said five people total were hit, but two women who survived were taken to the hospital in critical condition. While one woman had injuries to her back and legs, the other one had multiple traumatic injuries.
