49:20 Arrest #2
On July 20, 2024, Byram Township Police responded to a call of a woman yelling and knocking on doors. It was revealed that earlier in the evening an underage man and woman gave her $40 to purchase alcohol at a liquor store. When she returned back to the party, she no longer had the money and returned without alcohol. She was then asked to leave the area. However, because of her level of intoxication, she needed a ride and her cell phone was dead. The police attempted to contact her father without success. Eventually, the 21-year-old woman was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. At the police station, she continued with her drunk antics, which included pounding on the wall and demanding a female officer be present. She was released to the custody of her parents, after receiving three citations. 56 seconds after the body cameras are turned off, they are turned back on because the woman got out of her parent’s car and decided she was going to walk home. However, because of her level of intoxication and her mental state, an ambulance was called to take her to the hospital. She ended up being arrested again and she was mailed several more citations for the second arrest. All of the charges are still pending and all suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
