A multi-disciplinary road and safety operation is under way in Mthatha in the Eastern Cape.
This is part of the continuous effort by the province to make its roads safer but also create a safe environment for tourism to flourish.
Nearly 70 people have died on Eastern Cape roads since the start of the festive season.
