My name is Nikki Everett and I am attempting to raise money for both myself and daughter Erin to help contribute to the significant emigration costs so that we may relocate to England and be reunited with my husband,Tim.We humbly ask for your help.
We fell in love and married in 2009.Erin got the father she had craved.Her first words after the ceremony being ”can I call you Dad now?”Tim became a lawful permanent resident in 2011 after waiting two years before he could work and our family having spent tens of thousands of dollars on immigration costs.
In 2014 tragedy struck.A playtime accident with the family dog Britt caused Tim to be knocked over and smash his face on the edge of a sturdy wooden table.The groan of pain reverberated through the house.All in all 17 teeth were damaged or lost.The dental bill to repair the damage beyond their reach.
Tim now unable to work,home schooled our daughter but his mental health began to suffer putting a great strain on the family.Embarrassed to go out in public Tim became withdrawn,depressed and paranoid from the isolation.He was even afraid to get on a plane.After four long years and their daughter having finished her schooling two years early the family had to come to the difficult decision.Tim had to return to England and get the damage repaired.
After four and a half months of dental work and counselling my husband is now able to go out and seek employment but still carries some mental scars.
The family wishes to be reunited but the costs of immigration are prohibitive.
Our daughters lasting memory of her natural father is one of her face pressed against a window,little rucksack on her back and tears streaming down her tiny face as he failed to turn up. Getting drunk had been more appealing to him.My husband, Tim, is not that man but has been loving and caring helping her to move away from the disappointments of her past.
