Grand Junction Police Department (GJPD) has made three additional arrests in connection to an aggravated robbery that happened Aug. 16 at Canyon View Park.
Kevin Ramirez, 19, Christopher Ramirez, 18, and a juvenile, 16, were arrested in connection to the robbery during a traffic stop Monday night at approximately 11:30 p.m. near N. 13th Street and Cedar Avenue.
GJPD Public Information Officer Kira Rushton talks about the arrest.
“Upon thorough investigation detectives found that there were outstanding suspects as well. And all of those suspects were issued warrants for the arrest. Last night, officers with the Grand Junction Police Department were in the area of 13th and Cedar and recognized the suspect vehicle. After completing the traffic stop the three occupants were known to be the occupants with the outstanding warrants. All the occupants were arrested and taken to the Mesa County Detention Facility.”
In total, there have been six arrests on this incident. There was a seventh suspect who was already in the custody of the Mesa County Detention Facility on other charges. The suspect has additional charges added.
