On August 17, 2024, officers responded to a disturbance at a local public swimming pool involving a college student who was reportedly intoxicated and causing a scene. Upon arrival, they found the woman screaming, yelling, and highly uncooperative, exhibiting signs of severe intoxication. Despite the officer’s attempts to calm her down and question her, the woman continued to resist, becoming increasingly aggressive and argumentative. After several failed attempts to de-escalate the situation, officers physically subdued her with assistance, and she was placed in a patrol vehicle. Witnesses confirmed her disruptive behavior, leading to charges of disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and resisting arrest. She was later presented in court for the incident.
