In this short video, we’ll show you how an officer can unlawfully detain a person just to get identification. After this man refuses to give his ID to the officer, things get heated… fast!
Watch as the officer threatens to arrest the man, only to have the man eventually provide is ID. This is a great example of how cops can (and often do) use unlawful detainment to get information from people they encounter.
