A story of child rape where the child was married off at the age of 14 to stop people asking questions and avoid the stigma that is often attached to rape in societies across the world. The story also deals with a negligent and corrupt police force and justice system where the victims of rape and their families often have to sell their homes to be able to afford the endless bribes they have pay through the course of the case. It’s a heart wrenching and very real look at the injustice that poor families and the survivors of rape have to face in most societies, but in this case, in Pakistan. The report was filmed in Karachi.
