Dylan Johnson is an American wrongly detained in Mexico who has been convicted twice and has had his conviction vacated twice. Yet he’s still being held in Mexico with inadequate care and inadequate representation.
Dylan was scooped up in the middle of the night by US Marshals and held in solitary confinement for 6 months in a CCA-ran prison in Youngstown, Ohio, before being transferred to Butler County, Pennsylvania. He was eventually extradited to Mexico for a murder from a decade ago! The judge approved extradition and although Dylan’s conviction has been vacated twice, he remains in a Mexican prison.
