#REFLECTION: Almost seven months in the JNB Unity Party Government, the Hopes, Dreams and Aspirations of many Liberians go bleak. GOL stokes fear in the citizenry through the LNP who have on a number of occasions murdered young armless people in cold blood. UP Partisans allegedly involved in murders are appointed to key government positions while others threaten the lives of either Lawmakers or ordinary citizens. The International Partners who spoke against every act of violence during the CDC Government are yet to say a word about what is unfolding in Liberia. Freedoms enjoyed during the CDC Era are being curtailed and heavily armed Riot Police Squad patrols Monrovia and opposition CDC HQs. Civil Society Groups and the Interfaith Council including other opposition political parties like the vocal ANC of Cummings Jr are silent. Why all these? Let’s Dig Deeper as we Reflect!

#CSA_UNCONSTITUTIONAL: Speaker J. Fonati Koffa has challenged the legitimacy of the CSA’s arrogant Director Josiah (The Joker) Jokai citing a compelling constitutional argument that the CSA lacks Constitutional Authority since the 1986 Constitution mandates a Commission and not an Agency established in the 1970’s. Jokai has overtime illegally dismissed or caused the dismissals of hundreds of Civil Servants. #SCOL_FULL_BENCH_HEARS: The Supreme Court of Liberia Full Bench will hear the CBL Case involving Governor J. Aloysius Tarlue Jr Vs Government of Liberia through the Justice Ministry on August 21, 2024. In his conference with the parties, Justice Kaba requested the Government through the Ministry of Justice to show cause why the Court “Should not Grant the Plea for Prohibition” as requested by the Plaintiff.
The Supreme Court of Liberia Cited the Executive Branch/Justice Ministry and Suspended Governor J. Aloysius Tarlue Jr. to a Conference on Tuesday, August 6, at 3:00Pm as the HoR PAC Chair Rep Gahr called JNB to “Order” and says he should “Discontinue acting on Audits Report until hearings are held by the Joint Committee”. Meanwhile, Former Auditor John Morlu said JNB is “WRONG” to Suspend Governor Tarlue Jr. Justice Kaba has reserved Ruling on the Conference he held on Tuesday with the Justice Ministry and Suspended Governor Tarlue’s Legal Team.
