While coming in to do a public records request at the location I was met by Deputy Mcclain and Deputy Nibe. The entrance to the main area does not have any prohibited signs, markings or otherwise rules to enter. There are public sidewalks that lead to it. Those sidewalks are not ADA compliant and lead back to the sheriff’s office. These two wanted to be badasses and prohibit the view of any cars in their facility. My otherwise positive story about car safety now turned to a 1 a violation, and Florida statute violation.
FSS 119 Says that I can go to a location where the record is kept. This area is publicly accessible. I guarantee you there will be signs now though:) The JMA Signage continues
