बांदा जेल में बंद माफिया मुख्तार अंसारी की गुरुवार रात मौत हो गई. मुख्तार अंसारी बांदा मेडिकल के आईसीयू में भर्ती कराया गया था. बांदा मेडिकल कॉलेज की ओर से जारी मेडिकल बुलेटिन जारी हो गया है. कार्डियक अरेस्ट की वजह से मुख्तार अंसारी की मौत की वजह बताई गई है. मुख्तार का शव गाजीपुर के कब्रिस्तान में दफनाया जाएगा. इस दौरान पूरे प्रदेश में अलर्ट भी कर दिया गया.
