Tens of thousands have taken to the streets in Israel after the Netanyahu government confirmed six hostages had been murdered by their Hamas captors shortly before IDF troops arrived.
The rallies weren’t just an outpouring of grief. Many there were also angry at the government for not doing more to secure the release of the remaining hostages through a ceasefire deal.
