NJ Bill A3666 requires NJELSA members with an existing Public Works Contractor Registration to participate in a Department of Labor approved apprenticeship program, with further NJDOL regulation that the apprenticeship program have an ERISA-certified pension trust fund.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU?
Your company will be unable to install or service alarms, cameras, access systems, and more in schools, municipal police stations, fire departments, public utility offices, or any facility with local, state, or federal government funding.
The law has wreaked havoc on our Association’s members, many of whom have existing contracts with the State of New Jersey and its related entities.
