There is outrage over the actions of a New York district attorney who refused to stop when a cop pulled her over for speeding. Instead of stopping, District Attorney Sandra Doorley drove home. She called the mayor on the phone to try and intervene on her behalf with the police officer. Now, Doorley is apologizing. In her recorded statement, she blames her behavior on a tough work day and her husband’s health issues.
