People gathered in the Palestinian Embassy in Moscow held a protest regarding the escalation of the Israeli–Palestinian conflict in May 2021. I had the chance as a non-muslim and non-Arab to enter the embassy to document this protest and interview demonstrators to understand this significant long-last conflict in the world.
A significant outbreak of violence in the continuing Israeli-Palestinian conflict began on May 10, 2021, while disruptions occurred earlier and lasted until a truce was declared on May 21, 2021. Protests and police riot control were common, as were rocket assaults on Israel by Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) and Israeli bombings in the Gaza Strip.
